Mira long held the view that trans womens’ work is often devalued, or considered to be lesser than that of cis writers. When FTW first came out, there were no publishers willing to print or sell trans womens’ work. So, that FTW was not only released, but sold as a fair price, and that it continues to do so, was an essential point for her.
Following from that, we ask people do not upload this as a ‘free resource’ on the internet.
If you are looking to have copies for students, a bookstore, library or other queer shared resource, please do contact us, we would love to hear from you.
We are also working towards returning the zine in english to full print in the nearby future, we will update the site with details when we have them.
There is also a spanish translation currently in print, and a french translation now available digitally – both are beautiful renditions in their own regard, made by independent teams with their own unique artwork and writings.
